Repeated floral guard borders and fine banding articulate the composition, the overall colour and patina suggesting long, careful use. An antique rug that carries the quiet geometry of classical Tabriz work; Circa 1940 - 1955. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
