This Bibikabad presents a dense all-over lattice of cartouches and floral motifs in soft neutral, brown, cream and white tones, set within a red outer border and narrow guards. Wear is modest and even, producing subtle abrash and faded ivory highlights that lend a quiet, tactile patina to the field. The composition remains legible and finely detailed, the surface showing restrained, low distress consistent with careful age. An antique rug that balances complexity and calm, it measures 231 x 366 cm and carries the slow, lived-in character of an older weave. Circa 1915 - 1930.
