An Oushak in a sun-warmed pink and red palette on wool with neutral highlights. The field shows a worn central medallion and dispersed star and floral cartouches, bordered by a layered guard-band with flowing motifs. Abrash and moderate wear have softened the colours and given the piece an antique, lived-in character; signs of medium distress are present while the geometry remains legible. Subtle variation in dye and pale highlights read as a weathered colour study in wool. This antique rug measures 122 x 206 cm and carries a restrained, tactile fibre quality. Circa 1900 - 1920
