A Tabriz in wool fibre, 284 x 396 cm, with an allover lattice of compact medallions and floral rosettes rendered in soft neutral, brown, cream and white tones. The pile shows medium, even wear and gentle abrash that clarifies the weave's geometry while imparting a muted surface patina. The palmette border reads as a calm frame to the worked centre, edges lightly rubbed but intact. This antique rug presents a quiet, tactile presence with evident age and craft.
