Kashan Dabir, handknotted in wool, presents a quietly elegant neutral, white and cream colourway. A scalloped central medallion sits within a dense geometric floral lattice, edged by multiple floral vine borders and detailed corner spandrels. Visible abrash and medium wear have softened contrasts and given the surface a gentle, tactile patina while the medallion retains fine detail. This antique rug, 315 x 422 cm, reads as measured and worn with calm authority, its pattern and texture revealing the labour of craft over time. Circa 1895 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
