Repeating floral medallions and scrolling vine work create a dense, allover composition enlivened by ivory highlights and rose-pink touches. Narrow floral guard borders and a broader outer band define the edge while the pile shows low wear and an even, tactile surface. This antique rug presents careful drawing and a considered palette that rewards close viewing. Circa 1935 - 1955. Measures 295 x 391 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
