A Tabriz woven in wool with a pale cream field and a restrained palette of soft browns, muted terracotta and hints of pale blue. The surface shows a dense floral lattice and repeating palmettes framed by a scrolling vine border; wear has softened the pattern into a quiet, tactile ground. Medium distress and gentle abrash emphasise the rug's lived character while preserving the refined, traditional composition. This antique rug reads as a considered example of late 19th to early 20th century weaving. Circa 1900 - 1920. Size: 358 x 528 cm.
