A large Tabriz in wool, 366 x 610 cm, the faded blue-green field punctuated by red floral palmettes and a broad red border with ivory guards. The composition is an open scrolling vine with scattered floral sprays, worn to a soft, textured surface that reveals warm brown and neutral highlights. Medium distress and visible abrash animate the ground without obscuring the fine floral geometry; edges are mellowed but stable.
