This Tabriz in wool presents a restrained palette of neutral, cream and gold with a finely patterned centre and a wide floral vine border. The antique rug displays an allover palmette and medallion repeat where outlines have softened and small motifs drift into warm ivory fields. Medium wear and visible abrash create a mellow, tactile nap and a softened silhouette around the edges. Measured at 279 x 361 cm, the piece reads as a quiet, timeworn textile with subtle tonal shifts and an even aged patina. Circa 1920 - 1935.
