Amritsa shows a pale cream ground and a restrained central medallion, the floral arabesques softened by time into a mellow, tactile surface. The wool fibre retains faint traces of faded rose and muted sage within an otherwise neutral palette, where gentle abrash and medium distress lend quiet depth and worn sophistication to the field and border. This large antique rug, 483 x 818 cm, reads as a studied study in patina and proportion; the composition has relaxed without losing its formal balance. Circa 1890 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
