An understated Tabriz in neutral, white and cream wool, the 343 x 434 cm proportions reveal a repeated floral lattice of rosettes and scrolling vine work within restrained borders. Even fading and measured abrash have softened the surface, producing a tactile, low-contrast field where delicate motifs linger like pencilled detail. The medium level of distress harmonises patina with legibility, allowing the antique rug's design language to read as calm and considered rather than ornate.
