This Turkish antique rug measures 203 x 279 cm and unfolds in a restrained palette of ivory, cream and pale beige, with muted indigo and blue-grey patterning giving structure to the design. An organised central axis runs through the field, surrounded by petite floral and geometric motifs, then enclosed by a repeating border with angular rhythm. The medium distress is visible in the faded drawing and gently worn edges, which add to its quiet character.
