Deep navy, rust red, ivory, sky blue, and sage green create a layered palette, while gold outlines clarify the structure and border. The surrounding frame is busy and floral, echoing the energy of the interior composition. Visible wear has softened the pile and moderated the colour contrast, adding a quiet patina to the surface. Circa 1900 - 1930, it reflects the expressive, heritage-led character associated with Bakhtiari weaving.
