The wool surface has aged evenly, with marked fading and a soft, silvery patina that quiets the original contrast. Despite the distress, the pattern remains legible, and the composition retains its vertical rhythm from end to end. Circa 1915 - 1945, it offers the disciplined geometry and weathered elegance often seen in Sarab weaving. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
