The composition pairs a stepped central medallion with slender floral detailing, then opens into a more structured outer field of geometric repeats and a narrow floral border. Its medium distress is visible in the muted contrast, mellow fading and lightly uneven edge character, all of which lend the rug a considered, timeworn presence.
