This Caucasian antique rug measures 102 x 330 cm and unfolds in a long, narrow composition centred on stacked diamond medallions, each outlined with angular hooked motifs and enclosed by geometric borders. Woven in wool, it shows a measured palette of cream, brown, navy, rust, and softened blue, with gentle fading and low distress that lend a calm, timeworn surface. The repeating forms create a steady vertical rhythm, while the patina tempers the sharper colours into something more subdued and tactile.
