This Caucasian antique rug measures 152 x 389 cm and offers a long, narrow composition filled with geometric medallions, hooked details, and small tribal floral motifs. An ivory ground is surrounded by brick red, dusty blue, and muted rose borders, with a quieter white outer band that adds contrast and clarity. The wool surface shows light wear and softened colour from age, lending the piece a grounded, tactile presence. Circa 1880 - 1900, it carries the distinctive visual cadence of Caucasian weaving, where bold pattern and precise ornament are held in careful balance.
