This Lilihan antique rug measures 61 x 79 cm and offers a compact wool composition with a refined, symmetrical presence. A muted blush ground is arranged with mirrored floral and leaf motifs, central medallions, and slender branching forms in teal, aqua, coral, moss green, ivory, and blue. A slim geometric border neatly contains the drawing, while the overall surface reads softly worn and gently aged. The low distress preserves the clarity of the ornament and the calm rhythm of the field. Circa 1900 - 1915, it reflects the poised detailing associated with the Lilihan tradition.
