This Caucasian antique rug measures 104 x 282 cm, with a slender proportion and a field set out in ordered bands of geometric motifs. The palette reads in dusty rose, brick red, faded indigo, muted teal, and warm beige, with the border carrying a compact sequence of cross and latch-hook details that keeps the composition visually anchored. In wool with medium distress, the surface shows clear age, softened pattern definition, and gentle wear across the field. Circa 1850 - 1870, it carries the restrained clarity and tactile patina that define much admired Caucasian weaving.
