This Kysari antique rug in silk measures 122 x 165 cm and has the subdued grace of a piece shaped by time. Cream, ivory, pale gold, and soft peach notes gather around a worn central medallion, while the surrounding floral field and border remain gently dissolved at the edges. The effect is tonal and enveloping, with visible wear that softens the design language rather than obscuring it. Circa 1900 - 1915, it reflects high distress, muted contrast, and a beautifully faded surface. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
