The composition is built from an allover floral field of scrolling vines, palmettes, and repeated blossom forms, all enclosed by layered borders with finely worked botanical detail. Its palette of cream, white, muted brown, faded sage, and soft rust is gently washed, allowing the pattern to breathe through the wear. Circa 1915 - 1935, this wool rug shows medium distress, with softened contrast and subtle variation that lend the piece a measured, tactile character.
