This Ravar Kerman antique rug measures 190 x 274 cm and carries an all-over floral field in a restrained, layered palette. An ivory ground is framed by navy borders and detailed with blue, green, magenta, and burgundy accents, giving the design depth and clarity. The repeated medallion rosettes and vinework borders create an ordered, lyrical surface, while the wool pile shows low distress, light wear, and a gently softened centre. Circa 1940 - 1960, it has the composed presence and decorative balance associated with the Ravar Kerman tradition. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
