This silk Kysari presents as a quietly pale antique rug, its cream field and soft colour accents softened by even wear. A faded central medallion and sprigged floral vines sit within angular corner cartouches, while layered floral borders give a measured frame. The pile shows medium distress and gentle abrash, lending a toned, tactile surface to the silk fibre. Measurements are 152 x 201 cm. Circa 1910 - 1925. The condition and palette speak to considered age; motifs remain legible though softened, offering a calm, heritage-aware presence in a neutral register.
