This Kysari in silk presents a deep red mihrab panel framed by a pale cream field and small-scale floral vines, anchored by a decorative vase at the base of the niche. Flanking tree panels and a fine multi-border weave a calm, detailed composition; pale greens and neutral tones temper the red centre. Wear is minimal and the silk pile retains a soft lustre, a characteristic of careful use and conservation. The piece reads as an antique rug with refined drawing and restrained colour.
