Rendered in soft blues and creams, this Ravar Kerman shows a peacock motif set within stylised floral sprays and a repeating border. The wool fibre reads tactile and dense, the palette balanced between blue, neutral and white tones with restrained abrash lending a lived, luminous surface. Low distress keeps the motifs intact while the edges show gentle character from use. As a small antique rug it measures 48 x 51 cm, offering a jewel-like composition and painterly colouration that feels quietly historic. Circa 1940 - 1955.
