Measured at 99 x 122 cm, this Turkish wool antique rug carries a deep red ground accented with cream and neutral motifs. The centre hosts a geometric medallion surrounded by repeated floral rosettes and a stepped border, an austere folk vocabulary handled at a fine scale. Wear is low, with subtle abrash at the margins and intact edges that retain the piece's profile. Circa 1950 - 1965. The tactile wool pile and restrained colour palette give the rug a considered presence, a small woven object where craft and time coexist.
