A silk Kysari with a soft, low-contrast palette of cream, ivory and muted peach, the round field organised around a delicate medallion and radiating floral rosettes. Scrolling arabesques and a scalloped floral border remain visible beneath an even, gentle abrash; the fringe shows notable loss and the silk sheen is mellowed with age. The composition feels simultaneously ornate and quietly worn, an object of tactile history and considered craft. This antique rug measures 145 x 145 cm and reflects measured, lived-in character. Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
