The wool weave presents a warm neutral ground punctuated by brown and gold tones, mellowed by slight abrash and soft patina. Low visible wear retains clear pattern definition and a tactile surface; the fringe and edges show modest age. This antique rug balances formal geometry with an intimate, timeworn texture, a quiet example of regional idiom rendered in wool. Circa 1880 - 1925. Measurements: 99 x 185 cm.
