A narrow Ravar Kerman runner in wool with a delicate, time-softened surface. The field presents an all-over floral vine of palmettes and scrolling arabesques on a pale cream ground, with soft blue and faded rose registers carried through narrow guard borders. The design is medallion-free and rhythmically repeating, its scale intimate and finely resolved. Wear is low and even, producing a gentle abrash and a patinated hand without loss of pattern. This antique rug measures 74 x 305 cm and reads as a quietly aged, crafted object. Circa 1925 - 1940.
