A softly worn Kysari in silk, 132 x 137 cm, rendered in muted pink, cream and warm beige with hints of pale sage. The composition suggests a central medallion and a floral vase, surrounded by palmettes and floral spandrels within a layered border. Medium wear and subtle abrash have softened the pattern, producing a satinated surface and an aged, tactile sheen. Edges and fringe show mellow abrading that harmonises with the field; the intimate scale feels deliberately quiet. This antique rug carries restrained colour and delicate motifs that speak to historic handwork and time. Circa 1900 - 1915.
