A silk Kysari measuring 122 x 168 cm, this antique rug possesses a gently muted presence and considered wear. A central medallion unfurls into a compact floral ground, framed by scalloped spandrels and layered guard borders that sit like aged paintings. The silk fibre lends a soft, low lustre that emphasises abrash and medium distress across the field and borders, producing a warm, worn colourway of cream with cool blue touches on a neutral ground.
