This Ravar Kerman presents a warm neutral and gold colourway punctuated by brown palmette medallions set in a gentle lattice. The wool fibre exhibits a layered patina and soft abrash with medium distress, the field’s floral fillers and slender guard borders softened by age. Small irregularities in proportion and muted tones lend a tactile, heirloom quality to the composition. The result is an antique rug with measured symmetry and a lived-in surface, sized 340 x 404 cm. Circa 1885 - 1900. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
