A softly aged Kysari in silk, 190 x 282 cm. The washed neutral ground and pale cream tones are warmed by subtle blue accents, arranged in palmettes and delicate floral sprays with a narrow, faded border. High distress has left a low, tactile pile with visible abrash, surface wear and discreet repairs that emphasise the rug's material history. The colourway reads like a watercolour wash, where silk fibre and time have softened outlines and deepened nuance. This antique rug reads as a layered study of craft and age. Circa 1900 - 1920.
