Indo-Kashan / 11461

A small Indo-Kashan in wool, 104 x 160 cm, rendered with a compact central palmette and an arching botanical field of rosettes and scrolling vines. The palette pairs blue and purple accents against cream and white highlights, producing a composed, tactile surface and clear motif definition. Narrow floral borders and a restrained scale give the piece a measured, heritage quality. Wear is low and even, with only faint abrash and intact edges preserving the original rhythm of the design. This antique rug reflects mid-20th-century Indo-Kashan sensibilities. Circa 1945 - 1985.
