The allover palmette lattice and scrolling floral medallions have been softened by wear; medium distress and subtle abrash create a layered, tactile surface that reveals the passage of time. Circa 1895 - 1930. The wool fibre anchors a quiet, architectural composition, where the wide floral border frames a field refined by age and use.
