Teftex shows a whisper-soft field of floral sprays and square medallions on a creamy neutral ground, the wool fibre mellowed by medium wear. The narrow border of repeated panels frames a busy all-over composition, where delicate outlines and softened colour shifts (abrash) create depth across the 203 x 292 cm piece. Gentle traces of brown definition and faded pastel notes articulate the design while the pile remains evenly worn. An antique rug with a considered patina, it reads as both object and quiet surface of craft. Circa 1975 - 1990.
