A long Ravar Kerman in wool, 450 x 1026 cm, defined by a dense floral allover of palmettes, rosettes and repeating boteh motifs within narrow, layered guard borders. The colourway is principally purple with blue, cream and white accents, producing subtle abrash across the field. Low distress maintains a soft hand; the pile shows gentle wear with faint creasing and slight edge softening. This antique rug carries its history lightly, the pattern and texture resolved into a tactile, layered surface. Circa 1925 - 1940. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
