A central floral medallion and scrolling vine ornament sit within scalloped cartouches, softened by medium wear and even abrash that give the piece a quiet, tactile depth. The wool pile shows low lustre and selective thinning consistent with age, lending the antique rug a restrained, timeworn presence. Circa 1900 - 1915. Measures 356 x 544 cm.
