An elegant Ravar Kerman in softened colourways, woven in wool fibre with an antique rug’s deliberate restraint. A faded central medallion is set within a highly worked floral field of palmettes and boteh forms, the multi-band border carrying cartouche panels with calligraphic detail. Muted blues, soft greens and warm neutrals mingle across areas of abrash and reduced pile, lending the piece a fine, worn surface and gentle complexity. The pattern remains readable despite medium wear, its craft and age clearly present. Measures 274 x 335 cm. Circa 1910 - 1930
