This Mahal antique rug measures 325 x 439 cm and presents a gently eroded palette of ivory, taupe, muted teal, and soft rust. Its design retains the outline of an allover floral field, a faded central medallion impression, and a balanced border structure, though years of wear have softened the contrast and dissolved much of the detail into a calm, textural plane. The result is atmospheric and understated, with visible distress, subtle irregularity, and a beautifully aged surface. Circa 1930 - 1945. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
