This Mahal antique rug measures 259 x 376 cm, with a timeworn surface that gives its floral field a painterly, low-contrast depth. Teal, rust red, muted blue, ivory, and taupe settle into one another across an allover composition of scrolling vines, boteh, and a softened border. The central presence is subdued rather than explicit, allowing the design to read as atmospheric and layered.
