This Mahal antique rug measures 330 x 518 cm and has the softened presence of a well-aged textile. Its allover floral field is carried by layered border bands and faded Persianate motifs, with the central design gently dissolved by time into a more atmospheric composition. Rust, ivory, slate blue, taupe, and muted gold create a low-contrast palette with warmth and restraint.
