This Kurd antique rug measures 97 x 399 cm, its slender proportions emphasising a calm, elongated sequence of geometric medallions, floral rosettes, and angular latticework. The dark central field is balanced by cream, brown, and rust borders, while faded blue and soft red notes flicker through the design. Time has mellowed the colours into a quieter register, and the low distress preserves much of the pattern’s clarity. Subtle abrash and softened edges add character without interrupting the overall structure.
