This Kurd antique rug measures 104 x 358 cm, with a slender proportion that draws out the cadence of its pattern and aged finish. The central field carries compact geometric repeats, now gently softened by time, while the border and inner guards maintain a crisp, angular structure around the perimeter. Warm ivory, taupe and cocoa brown are touched with muted olive, giving the rug a grounded, understated palette. Its visible wear adds character and a sense of surface depth, allowing the motif to read as both ordered and quietly timeworn. Circa 1900 - 1915.
