This Kurd antique rug, measuring 104 x 422 cm, combines a slim proportion with a densely worked central field and floral border panels that feel both structured and rhythmic. Ivory, faded red, brown, muted blue, and grey shape the palette, while the middle register holds the deepest colour and the side borders open into lighter ground. Low distress is visible in the soft fading and gentle wear, which lend the surface an aged, tactile quality. Circa 1920 - 1940, the design balances tribal geometry with scrolling ornament, giving the rug a settled, heritage-led character.
