This Mahal antique rug measures 318 x 417 cm and shows an allover floral composition with softened border detail and repeated botanical forms across the field. Rosettes, vine scrolls, and medallion-like motifs remain visible beneath a well-aged surface, while cream, white, brown, muted rust, and faded blue give the piece a restrained, layered palette. Circa 1940 - 1960, it has medium distress, with evident abrasion, gentle fading, and worn edges that emphasise its timeworn character and visual texture.
