This Kurd antique rug measures 91 x 201 cm and carries a long, structured field organised around linked geometric forms in cream, blue, brown, and brick red. Layered borders, including hooked motifs and small diamond details, create a measured frame around the central design, while the dark outer guard line anchors the palette. The low distress is visible in the gently softened surface and lightly worn edges, which lend depth without diminishing clarity. Circa 1900 - 1920, this wool rug has a grounded, graphic presence and the patina of age that comes through in its subtle fading.
