This Kurd antique rug measures 114 x 323 cm and carries a long, balanced runner format with a tightly ordered field of small boteh motifs, framed by layered floral borders and narrow guard borders. The palette of deep red, brown, ivory, muted blue, and rust gives the wool a measured warmth, while the repeated pattern creates an even, textural cadence from end to end. Circa 1900 - 1930, it shows low wear, with softened pile, mild fading, and lightly rubbed edges that speak to age without diminishing the composition. The overall effect is calm, graphic, and heritage-rich.
