This Hamadan antique rug measures 109 x 267 cm and presents the strong, geometric language for which the region is known. A rust red centre is set against deep navy side panels and an ivory border filled with repeating village motifs, while the elongated medallion creates a confident vertical rhythm. The wool surface has softened with age, giving the drawing a calm, timeworn character without losing definition.
