This Mahal antique rug measures 267 x 348 cm and presents the composed, time-softened language associated with classic Persian weaving. The central field is washed in ivory and taupe, carrying an allover floral lattice that has mellowed into muted detail, while the border brings faded terracotta, sage, pale teal, and rust into quieter relief. Medium distress is visible across the surface, with abrasion and fading that veil the pattern and temper the contrast.
